The current company was founded in 1970 by Domenico Berni, nicknamed \u201cDELFO\u201d in Montalcino, a man with a passion for his land and for wine-growing, whose aim was to produce limited quantities of Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino, with full respect for the local wine tradition.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Gianni Pignattai, Delfo\u2019s grandson, started working for the firm to help out his grandfather . A few years later, after Delfo passed away, Gianni took over at the helm of the company.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
